Four mineral families, drawn from our own leases in the Nagaur belt and graded for the ceramic, sanitaryware, glass and refractory industries.
For two decades we have worked a single stretch of the Nagaur mineral belt. The same seams, the same chemistry, consignment after consignment — which is the whole reason a ceramic body fires the same way in March as it did in January.

Plastic Clay
Fine-grained and sedimentary — kaolinite with mica and quartz. The plasticity and green strength that let a body be thrown, cast and handled long before it sees a kiln.

The flux. It lowers the vitrification point and forms the glassy phase that makes a fired body dense, hard and translucent.
